The 2023 Block 5 shows the integrity of the site and it's ability to shine through cool seasons. It's a good friend to have located directly in front of the winery and then resting in barrel and bottle barely meters away from where it's grown. The 2023 is sweet and pure and very fragrant of roses and red berries. There is a reservation about the wine now with some brooding dark berry depth. The palate is fresh, creamy, rich and expansive. It is long and seamless and delicious. Seven plus years of improvement will see it at its best and history says it will live well beyond that.
