In 2020 Mrs. Lucie Peyraud, better known as Lulu, passed away soon after the harvest, at the age of 103. She joined her husband Lucien in ‘Winemakers’ Paradise.’ To express gratitude to these renowned persons of the domain (and the region),  the family has decided to rename their basic « Classic » cuvée: “Lulu & Lucien”  upon the release of the 2020 red wines. We wish you a pleasant discovery of this new label, an energetic and consistent wine that resembles its namesake. Long live the memory of Lulu and Lucien!

“Tasted from foudre, the 2020 Bandol Cuvee Classique had been blended the week before my visit. Already showing classic notes of tree bark and truffle layered against cherries and raspberries and a touch of olive, it looks relatively precocious.
