"Pure, savoury, layered, fine boned. Delicious blend of cabernet, cabernet franc, grenache, malbec, carignan and sciacarello. Phew! Geez this drinks a treat, fine and fresh, taut on ribs of tannin, a little nutty oomph and dark berry sloshiness all there. Lovely minerally grip to finish. This is such a delight, and all that quiet, symphonic complexity of the varieties works a treat to keep interest high." - 93 Points, Mike Bennie, The Wine Front

"A blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, grenache, malbec, carignan and sciacarello. It pulls all the right levers in all the right ways. It's medium in weight and classic in style, in that blackcurrant, mint and choc flavours are the main drivers, but there's attitude here, too, most of it via complex herb and tobacco-like notes, though the wine's 'natural' free-flowing feel is also a key aspect. This wine does not lack flavour and yet it feels like a drink rather than a meal, if that makes sense, with this level of refreshment. It's very good." - 94 Points, Campbell Mattinson, Halliday Wine Companion
